Secure Your Order With a Deposit
Secure Your Order With a Deposit
For some higher-value items, we offer a deposit option so you can secure your order now and pay the balance later. This applies to selected products such as exhausts, clutches, and brake systems, especially when an item is ordered in or allocated from an incoming shipment.
How deposits work
- Pay a deposit to secure your order
- We confirm availability and an ETA within 24–48 hours
- Your item is then allocated/ordered specifically for you
- The remaining balance is payable prior to dispatch once the item arrives in Australia or is ready to ship
Deposit amount: The deposit amount is 40% of the overall purchase price.
Why we use deposits
- Secures stock allocation for high-demand items
- Allows us to confirm the correct product for your exact bike
- Reduces delays and prevents incorrect orders
- Keeps the process clear for both sides before the full amount is paid

Good to know
- We’ll confirm the deposit amount, availability, and ETA within 24–48 hours.
- The balance is payable prior to dispatch.

- If there’s a significant ETA change once confirmed, we’ll contact you with options.

Important Terms – Deposit Orders
- Deposits secure supplier allocation or stock allocation and authorise Sportsbike to process the order.
- For items that are ordered specifically for you from a supplier (Special Order items), the deposit becomes non-refundable once the item has been shipped from the supplier, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
- For items allocated from existing or incoming stock, the deposit may be retained if the order is cancelled after allocation and reasonable costs have been incurred.
- When the item arrives in Australia or at Sportsbike’s premises, you will be notified in writing.
- The remaining balance must be paid within 21 days of written notification of arrival.
- If the remaining balance is not paid within this period, Sportsbike may cancel the order and retain the deposit to cover losses and costs incurred.
- Sportsbike may then resell, dispose of, or otherwise deal with the item.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Not sure if your item qualifies for a deposit? Send us the product link and your bike details and we’ll advise.
