For selected higher-value motorcycle parts, Sportsbike offers a deposit option so you can secure your order now and pay the remaining balance later.
This option is available on selected products such as exhaust systems, clutches and braking components, particularly where an item is special ordered or allocated from incoming stock.
How Deposits Work
- Pay a 40% deposit to secure your order.
- Sportsbike will confirm availability and the expected lead time within 24–48 hours.
- Your item is then allocated or ordered specifically for you.
- The remaining balance is payable prior to dispatch once the item arrives in Australia or is ready to ship.
Deposit amount: 40% of the total purchase price.

Good to Know
- We will confirm the deposit amount, availability and expected lead time within 24–48 hours.
- The remaining balance is payable before your order is dispatched.
- Deposits for Special Order products may become non-refundable once the product has been shipped by the supplier, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
- If there is a significant change to an ETA after it has been confirmed, we will contact you to discuss the available options.
- If the product is currently in stock in Australia, you can purchase it normally through the website for the fastest dispatch.
Important Terms – Deposit Orders
- A deposit secures supplier or stock allocation and authorises Sportsbike to proceed with your order.
- For products ordered specifically for you from a supplier (Special Order products), the deposit may become non-refundable once the product has been shipped by the supplier, except where otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law.
- For products allocated from existing or incoming stock, some or all of the deposit may be retained if the order is cancelled after allocation and Sportsbike has incurred reasonable costs or losses, subject to applicable consumer law.
- When the product arrives in Australia or at Sportsbike's premises, you will be notified in writing.
- The remaining balance must be paid within 21 days of written notification of arrival.
- If the remaining balance is not paid within that period, Sportsbike may cancel the order and may retain an amount from the deposit to cover reasonable losses and costs incurred, subject to applicable law.
- Following cancellation, Sportsbike may make the product available for sale to another customer.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
