Is Sportsbike an Australian business? +
Yes. Sportsbike is an Australian family-owned business supporting Australian riders and customers worldwide.

If you are unsure, email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364 with your motorcycle make, model, year and the product you are considering.

Product listings identify the manufacturer or brand so you know what you are purchasing and can access the relevant product, fitment and warranty information.
Sportsbike only sells genuine products purchased either directly from the manufacturer or through authorised distributors or resellers.
What support is available after I place an order? +

Shipping & Delivery +
Do you offer free shipping in Australia? +
Yes. Sportsbike offers free standard shipping Australia-wide on orders over $250.
Orders under $250 are charged a flat $10 standard shipping rate within Australia.
How long will my order take to arrive? +
Delivery time depends on whether the product is currently available locally or needs to be supplied by one of our Australian or European suppliers.
For specialist supplier-order products, please allow approximately 1–3 weeks as a general guide. Some made-to-order, customised or limited-production products may take longer.
If a product needs to be ordered in, Sportsbike will contact you within 2 business days to confirm the expected lead time. We will also provide an update when your order leaves the manufacturer or supplier, and send tracking details once it has been dispatched from Sportsbike.
If you need a part by a particular date, email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364 before ordering and we can check current availability and expected lead time.
Can I request express shipping? +
Yes. Express shipping may be available depending on the product, destination and stock location. Express freight is quoted separately before dispatch.
If your order is urgent, email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364 and we can check availability and the best available freight option.
Can I check stock before placing my order? +
Yes. If availability or delivery timing is important, email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364 with the product name or SKU before ordering.
We can check current local or supplier availability and provide an expected lead time where available.
Product Availability & Special Orders +
Are all products shown on the website stocked in Australia? +
No. Sportsbike provides access to more than 40,000 motorcycle parts and accessories from Australian and international manufacturers.
A product being available to purchase on the Sportsbike website does not necessarily mean it is physically held in stock in Australia. Some products are stocked locally, while others are sourced from the manufacturer or distributor after an order is placed.
What is a special-order product? +
A special-order product is normally sourced specifically for your order rather than being held as regular local stock.
This is common with specialist racing components, uncommon motorcycle applications, particular colours and finishes, premium exhaust systems and model-specific performance parts.
What does made to order mean? +
Some manufacturers produce particular products only after an order is confirmed. This can include exhaust systems, special finishes and specialist configurations.
Production time can vary. If you need a made-to-order product by a specific date, email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364 before ordering and we can check the current expected lead time.
What happens if the expected lead time changes? +
Supplier availability and international freight can occasionally change after an order has been placed.
If we become aware of a significant change affecting your order, we will contact you with the updated information and available options.
Fitment & Compatibility +
How do I know if a part fits my motorcycle? +
Use the Sportsbike Bike Finder and the Fitment Guide shown on the product page to confirm compatibility with your motorcycle make, model and year.
If you are still unsure, email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364 with your motorcycle details and the product SKU before ordering.
What information should I provide if I need fitment help? +
Provide the motorcycle make, exact model, model year and the Sportsbike or manufacturer product code where possible, together with a brief explanation of the fitment question or issue you are trying to resolve.
For heavily modified motorcycles, additional information about existing aftermarket components may also be required.
What does “universal” mean? +
Universal means the product is not designed exclusively for one motorcycle model.
It does not mean that the product is guaranteed to fit every motorcycle. Dimensions, mounting requirements, thread sizes, electrical connections or adapters may still need to be checked.
Does the Fitment Guide mean a product is road legal? +
No. The Sportsbike Fitment Guide confirms motorcycle compatibility. It does not certify that a product is approved for public-road use.
Racing components, exhaust systems, lighting, mirrors, tail tidies and other modifications may be subject to separate Australian and state or territory requirements.
Orders & Payments +
What payment options are available? +
Sportsbike accepts the following payment methods, where available:

The payment methods available for your particular purchase are shown during checkout. If you would like to pay by bank transfer, email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364.
Can I pay a deposit on an expensive product? +
Yes. A deposit option is available on eligible products priced over $1,500.
Where the deposit option is available, the product page will display a Pay by Deposit button. Use this button to request a deposit invoice from Sportsbike.
Please read the Deposit Option Terms & Conditions before requesting a deposit.
If you have any questions about a deposit, email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it? +
Email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364 as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.
For standard products, a change or cancellation is generally possible while the product has not yet been dispatched by the manufacturer or supplier.
Made-to-order, customised and special-order products generally cannot be changed or cancelled once the order has been confirmed with the manufacturer or supplier, or production or procurement has commenced.
If a standard product has already been dispatched, cancellation may still be accepted, but you may be responsible for reasonable costs actually incurred by Sportsbike as a result of the cancellation. This may include non-refundable supplier charges, return freight or supplier restocking fees. We will advise you of any applicable amount before confirming the cancellation.
This does not limit any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Returns & Order Problems +
Can I return a product? +
Sportsbike does not accept returns for change of mind. This includes a customer ordering the wrong product where the product supplied is the product ordered and there is no fault, incorrect description or other issue giving rise to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty products, products damaged in transit, products incorrectly supplied by Sportsbike, or products that otherwise fail to meet an applicable consumer guarantee are not treated as change-of-mind returns and will be handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Before returning any product, email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364 so we can review the circumstances and provide the correct instructions.
What should I do if I ordered the wrong part? +
Email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364 as soon as possible.
If the order has not yet been dispatched, we may be able to change or cancel it in accordance with the order cancellation conditions above. Once supplied, Sportsbike does not accept a return solely because the customer ordered the wrong part, unless Sportsbike agrees otherwise.
This does not affect any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law where the product is faulty, incorrectly supplied, misdescribed or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
What if my order arrives damaged? +
Email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364 as soon as possible and keep the product and all packaging.
Photos of the product, packaging, shipping label and visible damage can help us investigate the issue quickly with the carrier or supplier.
What if I receive the wrong product? +
Email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364 before fitting or using the product. Please provide your order details and, where possible, photos or the product code.
We will review the order and arrange the appropriate solution.
Warranty & Consumer Guarantees +
Do products sold by Sportsbike have a warranty? +
Many products sold by Sportsbike are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. Warranty periods and conditions vary between manufacturers and products.
Manufacturer warranties are additional to, and do not replace or limit, any consumer guarantees or remedies that apply under Australian Consumer Law.
What are my rights under Australian Consumer Law? +
Products supplied to Australian consumers come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law where those guarantees apply. These rights cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by a retailer or manufacturer.
The remedy available depends on the circumstances and whether a failure is major or minor, and may include repair, replacement, refund or another remedy provided by law.
How do I make a warranty claim? +
To make a warranty claim, email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364 with your order details, product information and a clear description of the problem.
Photos, videos, installation details and information about when the fault occurred may be required to help assess the claim or provide information to the manufacturer.
Can incorrect installation affect warranty coverage? +
Damage or faults caused by incorrect installation, improper fitting, modification or installation errors may not be covered under warranty.
This does not remove or limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law where the problem is due to a genuine failure of the product.
Installation & Technical Help +
Who should install motorcycle parts purchased from Sportsbike? +
Sportsbike does not provide a general recommendation that customers install motorcycle parts or accessories themselves.
Sportsbike recommends professional installation of all motorcycle parts and accessories by a suitably qualified person for the work being performed. Depending on the component and your location, particular work may also be subject to licensing, inspection, certification or other legal requirements.
All products must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and specifications. Incorrect installation, including incorrect torque, alignment, adjustment, sealing, wiring, bleeding or assembly, can cause component failure, motorcycle damage, injury or other loss.
Product descriptions, fitment information and installation manuals supplied by Sportsbike identify products and applications. They are not a representation that a particular customer is qualified, authorised or legally permitted to carry out the installation.
Damage or faults caused by incorrect installation are not a product defect and may not be covered by a manufacturer's warranty. This does not limit any rights or remedies that apply under Australian Consumer Law.
Should I follow the manufacturer's installation instructions? +
Yes. Always use the installation instructions for the exact product and motorcycle application.
Follow specified torque values, adjustment procedures, component orientation and maintenance requirements where provided.
Where can I find installation manuals? +
Where a manufacturer provides an installation manual or technical document, Sportsbike aims to make it available from the relevant product page.
If you cannot find the manual you need, email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364 with the product code and we can help locate any available manufacturer documentation.
Road Use, Racing Products & Homologation +
What does “Racing use only” mean? +
Racing-use products are designed primarily for competition, closed-course or track applications and may not meet requirements for use on Australian public roads.
This can include exhaust systems, de-cat components and other performance or competition parts.
What does homologated mean? +
Homologation generally means a product has received a particular approval for a specified motorcycle and configuration under the relevant approval system.
On exhausts, the approved configuration may require the catalyst, dB killer or other components to remain installed.
Does European homologation mean a product is automatically road legal in Australia? +
No. European homologation does not automatically establish that a product complies with Australian road-use requirements.
Australian Design Rules and state or territory requirements may apply depending on the component and motorcycle.
Can removing a catalyst or dB killer affect road legality? +
Yes. Removing a catalyst, dB killer or another component forming part of an approved exhaust configuration can affect noise, emissions, homologation and public-road compliance.
Always check the manufacturer's documentation and applicable Australian requirements before altering an exhaust system.
International Orders +
Can customers outside Australia order from Sportsbike? +
Yes. Sportsbike accepts international orders for many products and ships to many destinations worldwide. We currently do not ship to North America.
Where checkout permits, international customers can place their order online without needing to contact Sportsbike first.
Some products may have destination-specific shipping restrictions. Where international freight is not calculated automatically at checkout, the freight cost is calculated separately and invoiced before dispatch.
Are import duties and taxes included? +
Import duties, taxes, customs charges and other destination-country fees can apply to international orders.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are determined by the destination country's authorities.
Can I get an international freight quote before ordering? +
Yes. If you would like an international freight quote before ordering, email Sportsbike or call +61 466 869 364 with the product details and destination country.
