Important Note
The header replaces the original exhaust system component while maintaining compatibility with the configuration specified by Akrapovič.
Warning: for proper operation of the product, engine ECU remapping is required after installation.
The header is compatible with both the original equipment Akrapovič silencer (First Fit) and the Akrapovič silencer available as an original BMW Motorrad accessory.
Important: when installing the header together with the approved Slip-On silencer, the ECE approval of the exhaust system is no longer valid.
On Euro 5+ models equipped with dual lambda sensors, the engine warning light may appear after modifying the parameters of the original exhaust system.
To achieve maximum performance, proper power delivery and prevent the engine warning light from appearing, Akrapovič recommends using the Rapid Bike Smart by Dimsport module, part number K27-SMR2-010, specifically developed for BMW R 1300 R / GS / GS Adventure.
The device also allows optimization of engine operation, customization of power delivery and provides dedicated diagnostic functions.
