Will my Yamaha be improved by adding an Evotech Brake Lever Guard?

We think so! The Evotech Brake Lever Protector Kit replaces the OEM handlebar ends of the Yamaha MT-09 bringing two clear benefits to the motorcycle’s handlebars. Firstly, the aerodynamic aluminium lever protector shapes around the brake lever, aiming to block unexpected interference whilst riding. Such lever protection is deemed so important in the UK that brake protection is an essential requirement for racing or track days. Secondly, the integrated Road bar end weight, and matching clutch side Evotech Bar End Weight, are produced from stainless steel. Each side is greater in weight over the OEM parts, reducing high-frequency vibrations for a more comfortable grip on the handlebars.

Note: When fitting Evotech Brake Lever Protector Kit, it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the motorcycles throttle action (correct free-play, smooth opening and closing of the throttle, etc) is not impaired in any way. EP Brake Lever Protectors are designed to be used only with the OE throttle tube and handlebar grip.
