The Akrapovic Racing Line Complete Exhaust System is an exhaust system developed specifically for YAMAHA MT-09 / FZ-09 2024 - 2026, designed to improve performance, sound quality and aesthetics compared with the original exhaust and intended for racing use on tracks and circuits closed to traffic.
The Racing Line represents one of the sportiest solutions developed by Akrapovic and combines high-quality materials, significant weight reduction and a compact design created to enhance the aggressive character of the YAMAHA MT-09.
The system features a lightweight Titanium Exhaust Muffler outer sleeve with a special black coating, combined with Stainless Steel headers and Link Pipes and completed by a Titanium End Cap. The combination of these materials provides high build quality and a significant weight reduction compared with the original system.
The design uses a short and compact Exhaust Muffler, developed to give the motorcycle an even sportier appearance. The side outlet helps enhance the aesthetics of the MT-09 and the racing character of the system.
The sound has been specifically tuned to the character of the YAMAHA MT-09 three-cylinder engine, delivering a deep, full and sporty racing sound, accompanied by increased performance compared with the original exhaust.

The system is designed for racing use on tracks and circuits closed to traffic and does not meet the emissions compliance requirements for road or highway use.
The sound level declared by Akrapovic is approximately 101 dB at 5000 rpm. In the configuration without the sound insert, the declared value reaches approximately 104.5 dB at 5000 rpm.

Performance
According to comparative tests carried out by Akrapovic, the Racing Line system provides a maximum power increase of 3.3 kW, equal to approximately 4.5 hp, at 9600 rpm compared with the original exhaust.
The declared maximum torque increase is 3.4 Nm at 9650 rpm, helping to improve performance and the sporty character of the engine.
The total weight of the Akrapovic system is approximately 4.45 kg, with a reduction of approximately 2.6 kg compared with the original exhaust, equivalent to approximately 36.5%.
Important Note – Euro 5+ Models
On MY 2024-2026 Euro 5+ models equipped with 2 lambda sensors, after installation of the Racing Line, the engine warning light may illuminate due to the variation detected compared with the parameters of the original catalytic converter.
To optimize performance, rideability and power delivery, Akrapovic indicates the possibility of using the specific electronic device Rapid Bike Smart by Dimsport – Code K27-SMR2-016, developed for YAMAHA MT-09 Euro 5+ applications.
The Rapid Bike Smart K27-SMR2-016 can contribute to engine warning light management and allows engine operation to be optimized with the new exhaust configuration.
Rapid Bike Smart K27-SMR2-016 is not included with the exhaust and must be purchased separately.
